TS Grale was approached by NVM Private Equity LLP, an established SME/Mid-Market, mixed portfolio UK business investor to appoint a number of senior executives for Dale Power Solutions, an award winning, leading manufacturer and service supplier of critical power systems based in North Yorkshire.
The Challenge
Engaged initially to find a replacement for a highly regarded, long-serving Production Director.
This was a well-planned recruitment project, timed to allow a short hand-over before the incumbent moved into retirement. Critical to the search approach though was the need for complete confidentiality as both the internal and external ‘comms’ would only be made public once an appointment had been secured.
Additionally, based on the success of the Production Director recruitment TS Grale were then appointed to fulfil two further Executive roles: Managing Director and Sales Director.
All three roles were critical to meet the ambitious growth plans and long-term evolution of business
The Solution
The key requirement for all three roles was a commercial focus, balanced with an engineering production background and experience of complex,
design led electrical solutions.
The Production Director required a specific and targeted search which started locally growing to have a national reach. The Managing Director role required detailed mapping before search, as previous experience of leading a Private Equity backed company to growth was essential.
The Result
Once a pool of potential candidates was identified, thorough assessment of technical agility combined with commercial drivers was key to three successful appointments.
