TS Grale’s relationship with Faerch, today the world’s leading sustainable food packaging manufacturing company, started in September 2018, with the successful appointment of the UK CEO.

At that time the business was owned by Advent International, one of the world’s largest and most experienced global private equity investors. Over the next three years, through both organic growth and
strategic acquisitions the business doubled in size.

In 2021 it was sold to A.P. Moller Holding, a Danish foundation-owned holding company whose diverse portfolio includes companies like Maersk, Danske Bank and KK Wind Solutions.

Today, following the acquisition of PACCOR in 2022, Faerch has become a truly global business with c6000 employees and revenues of c€1.5bn.

The Challenge

Following the successful appointment of the UK CEO, TS Grale was engaged to support the wholesale transformation of the UK Manufacturing and Commercial Operations with the appointment of key members to the UK Divisional Senior Leadership Team.

Critical appointments include Chief Financial Officer, Market Segment Sales Director, UK Head of Human Resources, Production Site Director/General Manager, Segment Managing Director and Group Sustainability Manager.

Having built a strong relationship in a trusted advisory capacity, TS Grale was then asked to lead the recruitment of a number of key European Roles,
resulting in the successful appointment of a Country Sales Director and Key Account Manager, France and Operations Director – Recycling, Netherlands.
