Our client is a successful Fire Safety Company with a strong presence and expertise in delivering Fire Risk Assessments across a commercial, retail, and industrial businesses. This position is a chance to work with a well-established company in the UK market and an opportunity for a talented Fire Risk Assessor to be an essential part of the Fire Safety team process of a National organisation.
Main responsibilities of the role will include:
- To provide fire risk assessments for a variety of property types, including residential, retail, warehousing/distribution centres, and commercial environments.
- Potentially to provide additional fire safety services, such as fire compartmentation surveys or fire door audits, as well as ad hoc fire safety advice.
- To actively participate in the company's training and development.
- To uphold the Code of Conduct and the requirements of the company as instructed.
- To support the business by working flexibly and responsively.
- To uphold the company's values, vision, and mission.
Who we are looking for:
- Ideally registered with one of the recognised schemes listed within the Fire Risk Assessment Competency Council Criteria.
- Relevant fire safety qualification (such as NEBOSH, FPA credentials, or CFPA diploma).
- Experience doing fire risk assessments in commercial buildings, including places of assembly, is required.
- Experience conducting type 1 and type 3 residential fire risk assessments is also required, with experience conducting type 2 and type 4 assessments preferable.
- Excellent verbal, writing, interpersonal, and IT communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
- IT literate.
- Willing to submit to a DBS check before beginning the work.
