Site Manager

£80-90k

 

A leading manufacturer of building products supplying into the housing industry, this business is looking to bring a Site Manager in to run their East Yorkshire production facility. A well-established business with over 20 sites across Europe, they have a loyal customer base and are looking to improve their UK operational capability with investment from the group.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the whole production process on site
  • Lead, support, and train employees where necessary
  • Implement lean methodologies to ensure the production process is as efficient and cost effective as possible
  • Ensure the whole plant is compliant with Health & Safety regulations
  • Implement operational targets for team across the site that align with the production targets of the wider business
  • Ensure operational budgets are met while hitting performance targets
  • To develop, oversee and implement capital investment plans
  • Drive positive cultural performance
  • Liaise with external customers where appropriate to build relationships and resolve any issues

 

What we are looking for

  • +5 years in Operational Leadership position within a manufacturing environment, ideally leading teams of 80+
  • Experience working for a multinational business
  • Experience having responsibility for operational budgets and CAPEX investment
  • Demonstrable history of implementing lean methodologies to reduce cost and improve operational performance
